The Perks of a Good Book

Take a look at your bookcase. If you had enough free time, which book would be the first one you’d like to reread? Why?

That’s an easy one. I would immediately reread The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. It’s one of my all timPerksofbeingwallflower1e favorite books and it never ceases to elicit a reaction from me, no matter how many times I read it. I laugh, I cry, I rage and I wonder. At just how hard life can be. And how simple it can be at the same time. This book gives me hope for the future. For good people and those who understand. For knowing that the struggle will eventually end and that you might just come out on the other side a different person. A better person. Someone who loves deeply and infinitely. Someone who can take pride in the little moments and revel in the big ones. Someone like Sam. Like Patrick. Like Charlie.

“And in that moment, we were infinite”
