Poetic Bends

My shame hides from you

My pride towers over you

My jealousy collides with you

As I battle with my temperance,

You blind me with your diligence

For all I see

Is your brilliance

Forgive me my aching spine

For I know it’s a mistake to pine,

After someone with so much kindness

As I wish for my own divineness

Come to me with your aches and pains

For I can be your breaker of chains

And all I ask is for you to see

Just how many faces there are of me
