Poetic Bends, Weekly Writing Challenge

Haiku Catchoo

In the words of Ray Bradbury, “Just write every day of your life…”. Your mission is to write five haikus — one for each of the five days leading up to this Friday when we will choose some entries and feature them on Freshly Pressed.

I’m not one to write much poetry since it doesn’t come very naturally to me. But I thought I would try my hand at this challenge and get my Haiku on.

Your hand holds my hand

We prance under glowing light

Selves upon shadows
