So for the past week now I’ve been listening to the Principal of Pop’s 2nd part of The 20/20 Experience and it’s only right that as I’m listening and going weak at the knees from his silky voice to blog about it.
It’s no secret that JT is one of my favorite artists and the past 7 years without his voice has just been so empty and lonely and frankly really hard on the ears. But not anymore. This year has been a great one for music and it only continues to get better and better and Justin is a huge part of that.
Now part 1/2 was spectacular and I adore every single song on that album and I had no idea whether or not part 2 would be just as good, better or worse. And I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s better. It’s not a “so much better” in a way that sounds like the first part wasn’t worth our time. That’s not it at all. It’s an “it’s better” in the sense that Justin knows what the hell he’s doing when it comes to music and specifically his music. He knows what he wants his sound to be, he knows what he wants his image to be and he knows what he wants to sing about. This album just shows us music lovers that artists can and do get better with age. I love every single song on this album and I won’t be putting these headphones down anytime soon.
