This week I’m reading The Scorch Trials by James Dashner. It’s the 2nd book in The Maze Runner trilogy.
It’s a very interesting book and so far I’m liking it more than first one. That could also be because it’s always much nicer to already be in the middle of the story and not have to worry about how people met and how they got to where they were. I like being in the middle of the chaos. Which is just what this sequel gives you. Chaos, chaos and more chaos. Now don’t get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed The Maze Runner. I mean after all it’s the first book in a very interesting dystopian story (which is admittedly a favorite genre of mine) and if I didn’t like the first one I wouldn’t have bothered to read the other 2.
So since I’m only about 30 pages in, I don’t really have all that much to say about the book other than the fact that I’m enjoying it immensely.
